I also want write platform for Linux. I don't know why FIX protocol is not recommended by brokers. It's very hard to get it. Also FIX protocol will usually cause additional fee or demand. So I have to give up. Do you have these problems?

Iulian,

Do you have any experience using the third party connectors out there that connect MT4 to ECN's?

FXLQ (Forex Liquidity LLQ) used to offer MT4 with ECN feed until they got into trouble with NFA this week.

One problem regarding this integration is the fact that ECN feed allows halfpips that MT4 does not yet handle.

Some companies offer this integration only for accounts with opening balance greater than a specific threshold which few customers are willing/capable to meet.

Cheers,

good on you mate!!! ... for publishing your experiences with Rich Henry... the man behind the Expert Advisors called Conquest and Destiny. i guess all the bad publicity about the man is true after all.
everyone should avoid Rich Henry / Conquest / Destiny at all costs... unless of course you want to help the guy out by donating your money to him. - ck

keep the updates coming mate :O)

with regards to Bill's advise to disable the stop-loss, i think it needs to be looked at very carefully. there are 2 schools of thought with regards to trading with stops.... and i would say that Bill is on the extreme end of the school that does not advocate a good and tight stop-loss. this, of course, is just my personal opinion. - ck
